Corporate Training

Surveys prove again and again that top managers and directors of companies often feel that training programms for the development of their employees fail to be closely aligned to the actual strategic aims and value creation processes of the company. HR departments, who  want to be understood as a strategic partner for this reason require company specific and individualised programmes.

This knowledge is not really anything new. The exciting question is: how can this objective be achieved in a simple way?

Our requirement with regard to corporate training is a detailed and exact simulation of the actual value creation processes of the company in the entire training conception, co-ordinated with the operational units. This is done for example by writing completely new role play scenarios for the live trainings or the conception of complete planning games and simulations with fictitious customers and projects, which orient themselves to the material processes of the business and are co-ordinated with experienced co-workers from the respective departments.

The entire range of so-called Business Skill training courses which typically take place - in many enterprises still in the so called open further education program or mandatory training programme for sales or management development - can in this way be adapted to the described requirements. A pleasant side effect is the increased acceptance of participants and internal contractors for the training programme, and participants report that it is much easier to transfer experience from the training course into their daily work.

From these projects we have already created a fictitious coffee house chain to illustrate service processes as well as a manufacturer of nutritional supplements. Edutrainment here means including humour and entertainment in an otherwise detailed, exact and realistic simulation.
